China's first remote sensing satellite for ocean salinity information acquisition, the Ocean Salinity Detection Satellite, has completed all in-orbit tests and is ready for long-term user delivery.

據媒體24日轉述中國航天科技集團消息，海洋鹽度探測衛星又稱海洋四號01星，是國家民用空間基礎設施中的科研衛星，2024年11月14日成功發射。衛星入軌後，歷經了平台工作狀態設置、載荷開機測試、星地鏈路建立、業務功能驗證等多個關鍵階段的考核，功能、性能均滿足或優於設計指標。

According to reports from the media on the 24th, citing the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, the Ocean Salinity Detection Satellite, also known as Ocean No. 4 01 Satellite, is a scientific satellite in the country's civil space infrastructure. It was successfully launched on November 14, 2024. After entering orbit, the satellite underwent several critical stages of assessment, including platform operational state setup, payload activation testing, ground-satellite link establishment, and business function verification. Its functions and performance meet or exceed design specifications.

這顆衛星的成功發射，完善了中國海洋衛星觀測體系，填補了中國星載海洋鹽度探測的空白，具有重要里程碑意義。衛星後續將為海洋環境保護、防災減災和全球氣候變化等提供全球高精度的海洋鹽度數據，為中國海洋強國建設提供有力的技術支撐。同時，衛星還兼顧土壤濕度測量，可滿足旱災監測、農區環境監測、數值天氣預報等行業用戶的應用需求。
